Panago Pizza in Trail, BC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations of a busy takeout and delivery-focused restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining food quality standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

The Restaurant Manager will plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the Panago Pizza location in Trail, BC. This includes overseeing all aspects of front-end customer service, kitchen production, and delivery coordination to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

The role involves supervising and coordinating staff, including pizza makers, customer service representatives, and delivery drivers. The manager will prepare staff schedules based on business volume, ensure proper staffing during peak hours, and monitor employee performance. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring staff, as well as conducting performance evaluations and implementing corrective actions when required.

The Restaurant Manager will ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety regulations in accordance with British Columbia standards. This includes monitoring food preparation, enforcing hygiene practices, and ensuring adherence to operational procedures and company policies.

Inventory management is a key responsibility, including ordering food ingredients, packaging supplies, and other materials, while maintaining appropriate stock levels and minimizing waste. The manager will also monitor and control food and labour costs, review daily sales performance, and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

The position requires overseeing delivery operations by coordinating order preparation and dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and maintaining high service standards. The Restaurant Manager will address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining financial and operational records such as sales reports, inventory logs, and employee documentation. The manager will also support local marketing initiatives, community engagement, and promotional activities to increase sales and brand visibility.

Requirements:
Completion of college/CEGEP or equivalent experience
2 years to less than 3 years of experience in restaurant or food service management
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Serving It Right Certificate required


Work Conditions:
On-site position (no remote work)
Shift work including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Supervision of 5–10 employees
